Blue Bird Group Win Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2012

Jakarta, September 12, 2012 – Blue Bird Group awarded “Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2012” for the category Taxi in five major cities – Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang and Medan. The award was accepted by Handang Agusni as a Director of Blue Bird Group at the Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta. Indonesia Brand Champion Award is a collaboration with research institutes Marketeers Magazine Markplus Insight. Marketeers and Markplus Insight Magazine collaborated to measure the brand equity of the transport and logistics industry in Indonesia.

This measurement is based on seven aspects, namely awareness, usership, image, satisfaction, loyalty, recommendation and retention programs. The annual award is given based on the results of a survey in six major cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Medan and Makassar. The survey was conducted on 10-14 February 2012 of 675 respondents in six major cities, namely Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Medan and Makassar comprising service users taxi, travel, airlines and logistics.

Respondents in the survey were men and women who never used a transport or logistics services in the past year, as well as a decision-making brand selection certain transportation or logistics is used. Handang say, “We are very proud of this award because it proves our success as a company to build public trust land freight transportation in Indonesia.”
