Blue Bird Group participate in SINDO Green Action

During 23 -24 April 2012, Blue Bird Group has participated in trees planting event through several schools in Jakarta that organized by SINDO Media. The event that called Sindo Green Action was held to commemorate earth day. Ceremonial event was held at Hotel Grand Sahid Jaya, it was opened by the minister of forestry, Zulkifli Hasan and Hary Tanoesoedibjo from CEO MNC Group. Blue Bird Group received Plaque and award as a pioneer in indonesia greening, the award was represented by Riyanto Y Supotmo (Vice President Human Resources). The venue for trees planting is on SMU 70 Jakarta. The ministers and other guests are used Big Bird as the transporation to SMU 70 Jakarta and started planting with ‘sahabat pohon’ community.

On 24 April 2012, Blue Bird Group also joined on trees planting on SDN 08Tebet Utara. The Drivers was accompanied by head of SPPBBG (Serikat Pekerja Perusahaan Blue Bird Group) to plant a trees in the backyard of school. The activity was fully supported as well by the principal and students.
