P.T. Ziegler Indonesia was incorporated in September 1994 as a joint venture between Blue Bird Group Indonesia and Albert Ziegler GmbH & Co. KG. Germany, calling on a successful tradition of more than 100 years.

Ziegler is certified as meeting ISO standards in “establishing and applying a quality system for Fire-fighting Vehicles, Fire Pumps, Hoses, Hose Maintenance Equipment, and Fire-fighting Equipment (Certificate Registration No. 70 100 F 285)”.

Ziegler's truck manufacturing and assembly plant is located at Lippo Cikarang Delta Silicon Industrial Park, 37 km from Jakarta.

Aside from the manufacture and assembly of fire-fighting vehicles, Ziegler also supply fire pumps, fire hoses, hose-maintenance equipment and auxiliary equipment such as a wide range of extinguishers, breathing & respiratory equipment, rescue and salvage gear and fire-fighters uniforms. Ziegler also provide on site training to users of equipment and an after sales package which includes a guaranteed supply of spare parts.

Ziegler's Fire-Fighting & service vehicles comprise of five series. Ziegler also pride themselves in making custom built vehicles adapting to clients needs.

“ADVANCER” series: Rapid Intervention Vehicles and major foam trucks for Crash Fire Rescue on airports and airfields, exceeding the ICAO recommendations for Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicles.	“FORCER” series : Modular design series fire pumpers and bush fire trucks for municipal, military and industry services.

“PREVENTER” series : Heavy Multi-Purpose Fire Tenders, particularly suitable for high risk industries, such as chemical and petro-chemical industries.	“RESCUER” series : Recovery and Salvage Trucks, particularly suitable for technical support, environmental protection and recovery operations.

“SKY PROTECTOR” series : Aerial Ladder Platforms Range 17m - 72m.

Ziegler currently exports to the Asia Pacific Region and the Middle East.
