SMS Taxi is a new service from Blue Bird Group, allowing customers to order taxi pick-ups through the use of handphone SMSs. Before using SMSTaxi, customers will need to register their pick-up addresses first. Each customer can have up to 9 addresses registered. These addresses will be used for location reference for taxi orders, so that when a customer orders a taxi, a full address is not required, only the location name of said address. The location name is left to the customer. Example: Home, Office, Apartment, etc. (the name may be a maximum of ten characters without spaces).
SMSTaxi can only be accessed through handphones using the following service providers: MATRIX, MENTARI and IM3. Our apologies, TELKOMSEL, ProXL and other cellular providers’ customers cannot take advantage of this offer at this time.

The registration process can be conducted through SMS by sending one to 1234 with the following content:
1. Type REG (customer name). Send the SMS to 1234. Example: REG BUDI.
2. Type ALM (Location Name) (Full Address of the Location).
Send the SMS to 1234.
Example: ALM RUMAH JL. HOS COKROAMINOTO NO. 107, MENTENG, JAKARTA means
that you have registered “RUMAH” to the address
Jl. HOS COKROAMINOTO 107. For building or office addresses,
please include all necessary information such as building name, company name,
floor and extension.
3. To register another address, type another SMS in the same format.
4. Type STOP to finish your registration.
For every new location, please send another SMS to 1234 in the following format:
ALM (Location) (Full Address of the Location)
The additional locations will be registered and can be used for ordering after you have received confirmation from us.
Taxi ordering through SMSTaxi can be done after you have received confirmation of the registration process (roughly 24 hours).
SMSTaxi is a system integrated with Blue Bird Group’s GPS System, so every SMS that comes in must match the SMS format for taxi orders. If the SMS is successfully processed, confirmation will be sent for the time and location through SMS as well. The number of the taxi sent for the order will be sent as well.
The full SMS format for taxi orders is: ORD (Taxi Type) (Location) (Time) (Date) (Destination)
Explanation:
Taxi Type:
B = Blue Bird
S = Silver Bird
BS = Blue Bird or Silver Bird
Location:
A location name previously registered.
Time:
In 24 time format, without spaces and ‘:‘. Example: 0530 (5:30 in
the morning), 1900 (7 in the evening)
Date:
In DDMM format, without spaces and dashes. Example: 0105 (1st of May), 1904
(19th of April)
Destination: (optional)
Name of the destination. Example: Blok M, Kuningan, Menteng, APSH, etc.
A. Immediate Taxi Orders
Format: ORD (Taxi Type) (Location)
(Destination)
Example:
• ORD B RUMAH
This means that you have ordered a Blue Bird for the location RUMAH.
• ORD BS RUMAH
This means that you have ordered a Blue Bird or Silver Bird (whichever is first
available) for the location RUMAH.
B. Taxi Orders for a Future Time (on the same date)
Format: ORD (Taxi Type) (Location)
(Time) (Destination)
Example:
• ORD S RUMAH 1500 Airport
This means you have ordered a Silver Bird for the location RUMAH at 3 PM, with
a destination of the Airport.
• ORD BS KANTOR 0900
This means you have ordered a Blue Bird or Silver Bird for the location KANTOR,
at 9 AM.
C. Taxi Orders for a Future Date
Format: ORD (Taxi Type) (Location)
(Time) (Date) (Destination)
Example:
• ORD S RUMAH 0500 2210 Airport
This means you have ordered a Silver Bird for the location RUMAH, at 5 AM on
the 22nd of October with a destination of the Airport.
• ORD BS APARTEMEN 1900 0105
This means you have ordered a Blue Bird or Silver Bird for the location APARTEMEN
at 7 PM on the 1st of May.
To cancel an order, send an SMS with the following content:
CANCEL
The system will cancel the previous SMS Taxi order.
To obtain information on how to use SMSTaxi, send an SMS with the following
content:
PAN (type of information)
Types of information: REG, ORD, STATUS,
INFO, CANCEL, UPD
To find out what locations have been registered, send an SMS with the following
content:
INFO or INFO (Location Name)
Every service will have a few bugs in it. To that end, Blue Bird Group has provided a service channel for customers to send feedback or any complaints they may have with the service. The format of the SMS should be:
KOMPLAIN (contents of the complaint)
1.To register, cancel an order or send a complaint the normal cellular provider
costs apply. (Rp. 300 or Rp. 350 depending on the provider)
2.Taxi orders cost Rp. 1000 (applicable only to taxis sent out). If the order
is cancelled, only normal cellular provider fees apply. Customers will receive
confirmation of the taxi number of the cab being sent.
3.SMSTaxi information costs Rp. 500.
