PT Iron Bird was founded in 1993 and launched by Mr. Sudjono, Director General of Land Transportation as a Container and General Cargo Haulier Company.

Currently Iron Bird operates almost 200 Volvo trucks, dozens of Mercedes truck heads and hundreds of trailers. The head trucks are especially designed for sea container, heavy cargo and bulk-cargo haulage. Our fleet are in prime condition and meet the conditions stipulated in the Ministry of Transportation regulation regarding container haulage. To ensure our long-term commitment to provide the highest quality in container haulage services, we have a specialized training program for our drivers and mechanics. This program is designed in cooperation with Volvo, Sweden, whose instructors have been invited to Indonesia to give training to our drivers.

Our operational scope includes Jabotabek, East, West and Central Java. Each head truck is equipped with a radio communication system and a tachograph for superior control, which monitors speed, distance and the route taken. Our operations are supported by a team of mechanics, 24 hours a day.
